School Reviews
5 10/10/2025
Brunswick is the smallest high school in Frederick County, but it's actually great since my child is not just a drop in the bucket. From talking with friends involved with other high schools in the area, I get the impression that Brunswick just doesn't have as many problems with drugs, violence, worldliness, that other places do. The kids I have seen and gotten to know seem like good down-to-earth kids overall. I have gotten to know quite a few of the staff and teachers and have gotten very positive impressions about them and the academics seem sound. I think that BHS is not as intense pressure-wise as other schools (like in Howard County) but that's fine with us! There are lots of extra-curricular offerings. The facilities seem in good shape. Of course, no school is perfect, but we are very happy with Brunswick High School.
