Despite some negative publicity over the years, Meade has strong academic programs in place with a very diverse population. Facilities are adequate and well kept. Scores don't look as good as some other schools in the county but are relatively strong compared to Prince Georges County with whom the schools boundary lines meet to the south. The staff, leadership, tools, and system is solid.

I went here from 2009-2013. The school has changed for the better over the years. I learned about many different cultures and people by attending this diverse school. Meade high school is a great school and any student of any race will fit in here.
