When students are being bullied, the bullies do not get in trouble. The 6 period day took away study halls and too many electives. Some teachers yell at students too much and cannot discipline them well. The portable classrooms are stupid because if it's raining or snowing outside, you can't put your books in a backpack, so your books get wet. The teachers do not enforce the dress code, and there is no senior class trip.

The school district just built a modern high school building incorporating individual and small group learning centers. It is a highly innovative design which is academically inviting. Brand new state of the art athletic and performance arts facilities are a real plus. They offer many college and advanced placement and honors courses along with numerous electives. This school district has turned the corner and is on the rise.
