  • Nome-beltz Jr/sr High School is a family oriented learning community. We value respect for our Elders, celebrate our diversity, and stress personal integrity. Our stakeholder optimism inspires teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a sense of pride. We hold that high expectations for solid academic performance from our students must go hand in hand with school district accountability in the instructional program. Out staff teaches from a curriculum that is aligned to the Alaska Performance Standards for Students. In addition to our robust instructional programs we are proud to have a fully developed K-12 activities program. Our Parent-Teacher-Student Association is a one of many opportunities for parents to volunteer time and energy at the school.
