School Reviews
5 10/10/2025
An all-around quality school. Excellent teachers, kind people, plenty of opportunities in music/art, excellent sports coaches, and off-campus lunch for upperclassmen. Oak Ridge prepares its students for collegiate courses extremely well and presents a great learning environment for students.

This school is good if your child is talented and focused on a STEM career. If not, no good for your child. The teachers are arrogant. There is way too much homework - more than any other area school. All in the name of "being the best" regardless of how stressed the kids are. If your child is artistic or musical - forget it. Or if your child is on a 504 or IEP or needs extra help - forget it. They have put themselves in an itty bitty corner for one small group of kids because of the Manhattan Project legacy. This should be labeled as a specialty school.
