School Reviews
2 10/10/2025
The building is brand new and that is the best thing I can say about this school. While an academically sound school, the parent involvement is dangerously invasive. Zionsville is an extremely secular community which is reflected in this school. The PTO is controlled by a group of singular visionites that push their agenda. Children spend most of their time on meaningless worksheets. Practical applications are rare. Of all Zionsville schools this one is partically troublesome. It is a merger of the original rural Union school with a more suburban area. The clash between these two fundamentally different groups has never been resolved. I would highly suggest considering Carmel/Clay Schools over Zionsville. Despite already higher than surrounding areas taxes, Zionsville tried to push through a referendum to increase tax money for the schools. This measure was defeated by 66%. So this community does not value its schools. Arts, Music, and extracurricular activites are all on the chopping block. But, rest assured Sports are in no danger, they only just completed a state of the art football stadium and the baseball fields should be complete by spring. Whew, that's a relief!
